Karn designs

The Spacerobot Crew gave me some scratch art paper for a late Christmas present. We have been playing.

These are designs from Karn. The first one is rsakk, probably from the Vahtani house.

Silver scratch art of a symbolic tribal landscape with two rsakk lizards starting a fire with their breath, which reaches up into the sky with wings and plants growing and eyes in the clouds and the sun.

I was thinking of a tirothi village tree when I did this one, though shashigai says it looks more like a frog monster.

Silver scratch art of a tall tree done in tribal symbols, with a house-shape nestled in the branches and roots growing under the soil.

Here's what they actually look like. The paper sheets are pretty small and they change with the angle of the light.

Three black scratch art sheets leaning against a mossy wall, one with a sparkly rainbow design and two with silver designs.

I started this one but didn't finish it. It's about seeds and the toren cave.

Silver scratch art of a cave with designs of all different shapes growing out from the rocks.

We were having so much fun with it that shashigai went out and found a different kind of scratch art paper in the craft store here, with a rainbow effect instead of silver. I really wanted to do another tirothi tree to show how it looks IRL, but I think it's still kind of hard to see what's going on. There's a hut built where the branches come out from the trunk, and each branch has a pathway along it leading to a door at the trunk.

Rainbow scratch art looking down on a tree trunk from the outer branches. The branches have walkways running along them, framed by palmlike leaves.

jimnightmare gave me his awesome lightning-struck turkey with an evil snail. You can see the holographic silver a bit better in this picture.

Silver scratch art of a curious turkey with beautiful feathers peering into a thundercloud zapping it with lightning. There is an angry moon with stars and a tiny smiling snail crawling on top of the cloud, and a tiny silver heart in the lower right corner behind the turkey.

Yeah it's really cool to see the shiny part appearing, and it's easy to scratch off. It comes with a stencil full of designs too.
