Critique on face studies: I think they're both really good, but I like the lower one more, as something seems slightly off about the proportions or angle of the mouth/chin area in the upper one compared to the rest of the face. The lower one looks great overall. The upper one looks slightly older, too. How old is Marai?
I thought she was in her 30's but Wolf says now that she's younger than that. Maybe 28?
The top one's copied pretty directly from photo reference so I couldn't use it anyway. The bottom one is my attempt to un-age the face and give it more of Marai's features without losing the expression that I really like about the top one. The mouth is screwed up because the original photo has a pipe. It's by Steve McCurry, who's a famous National Geographic photographer. He's the guy responsible for the iconic image of the Afghani girl with the pale eyes.
Hahahahaha, okay, never mind my critique then. "The top one looks older and has a screwed up mouth" is not a negative critique when the top one IS older and is supposed to have a crooked mouth due to the source photo. XD You did that perfectly, then. And the un-aging definitely worked.

I like your critiques and I love it when people can see the problems in this stuff.
